sculpture / 2017

wood / steel / wire

for private collector in New York

This sculpture started with the examination of tensegrety principles applied by Keneth Snelson and Buckminster Fuller.

What started out as a geometrical exercise later developed into a piece with a deep metaphoric meaning.

Two triangles intertwined, denying them to escape each other. High tension keeping them in place, drawing them towards the other, but also apart.
